As far as I see, your version (at least) of frx2word does not do it automatically. So, your options are:
- modify the code of frx2word, or
- add a couple of lines to autoformat the contents of the file.
I would use the second approach. The following may help:
oword=CREATEOBJECT("Word.Application")
oword.Documents.open(fullpath(doc_file))
oword.activedocument.Content.Select
oword.Selection.Range.AutoFormat

www.example.com or \\corporateweb\file011.doc so all they have to do is click on the link, and automatically a window opens and displays the file or whatever...

www.whatever.com as a hyperlink. or \\whatever\idontknow.doc as a link.
