I will be running this inside a foxpro application that I did not create as a custom report, so it would be better to try to keep everything isolated from that app. might be best to keep it all in the form or calling PRG

I see it much better now.
Once I have the report instaniated it would be a matter of test.rep.?startdate=thisform.startdate.value
and so on.

Only issue I need to deal with is the login into a SQL database once that is done then the report knows what tables to get.

when running this in the application as a custom report that app
is already logged into the correct server.

Any thoughts on how to use that login?
