The listview is slower to display data, particularly when there are alot of records. I have noticed that when populating the listview, it is fastest with the Visible property is set to false. One listview type control that is very flexible and can also be data bound is BBListView.OCX (see Download ID: 9468) which has a reasonable registration fee.
