I have a VB program I wrote a few years ago and all we ever did was copy a few files to a directory and it worked. These PCs had MS Office installed.
Now we are trying to do that and the system appears to work fine, but when we try to have it open a table to add records we get an error with the MS data grid "Cannot initialize data bindings." This PC does not have MS Office installed on it.
I seemed to remember there was run time files you could install on a PC if VB didn't have all it needed, but I can't find that on my machine or looking around is MSDN.
Am I remembering right about the programs you could install for VB?
Do you know where to get them?
Thanks
