I seem to remember you've made this an issue before.
Just how would you propose that the "problem" be solved?
I'll tell you how I see it... I think people should use the appellation that suits themselves and leave the "problem" of consolidating synonyms to those who have the need.

We do not need a cookie-cutter 'solution' for everything in this world! Let there be some distinctiveness to life!!!

Just because you see something a certain way does not mean that you are right. I understand that being perfect is difficult in this most imperfect world, but I think if you make an effort to just let things be you will find more calm in your life. And maybe learn a little something along the way too.
