i my case i use view via ODBC and CA. this is just my opinion. I use view mostly because i found it very easy for me to do it. my problem is the connection setting (like server password )of my view is store in my DBC which will be vulnerable.. Second I Use CA on some specially will long store procedure the create temporary tables inside the store proc. because i have problem with this case when im in ODBC. and also I can easy cast DateTime to Date when in CA and can maximize OLEDB. It just my opinion , im sure others have their reason
