Hi Sergey,

You are a genius, it worked when I embedded the barcode font into the PDF. I couldn't figure out how to embed it in ghostscript. I downloaded a demo of AMYUNI PDF Converter and got it to embed the font. I printed the PDF and the barcode scanned correctly. Now I'll need to see if I need permission from the barcode manufacturer to embedded the barcode in PDF's <s>.

Thanks for your help,
Gavin.

>>The output size of the PDF was 99%. I changed it to 100%, but the barcode still doesn't scan. The problem looks like the barcode in the report created as a PDF then sent to the printer has been rendered slightly different to a report sent straight to the printer. If I compare the output of the 2 reports the barcodes on each look slightly different. I think maybe the ghostscript that renders postscript to PDF is changing the size of the barcode font to be slighty wider than the report sent straight to the printer. I can't think of anything else to try.
