This is my first time trying VFP9 report and having a hard time. Here is what I did:
-Set enginebehavior to 90.
-Ran an SQL and got 8556 records to report on
CREATE REPORT blahblah.frx FROM ALIAS() form
modi report blahblah.frx
-Only changed one of the character fields to trim to the nearest word and add ellipsis
-Right clicked and selected 'Print Preview'

It took almost 1.5 mins for creating the output but after it is finished I see nothing. I tried 'Run report' and got a 'Printers' dialog. It was ill behaving (shows partial labels, icons under 'General' tab and as I move the cursor it loses them and shows buttons like 'Print', 'Cancel' ... if mouse is at their location).

What is the trick to have a simple print preview (if behavior is 90)?
Is there a setting or something like that I should do to get a faster response or is it by design?
TIA.
