Winan,

All I have is ASA9 documentation and in it dbs=-q is not a valid switch?? Also, I would get rid of read. Other than that, I am not sure what the problem would be.

In ASA8 and 9 there is a -ar switch that causes dbunload to automatically reload the database. That way you don't have to deal with creating and reloading the database yourself. I am not sure if ASA7 has that feature.
