VFP 9: I'm considering using Cryptor to protect some potentially sensitive data in an application that runs disconnected from a network.
My understanding is that I can protect DBC/DBF files and indexes with Cryptor as well as low level file i/o done via filetostr/strtofile, fopen/fcreate, and textmerge, etc.
1. Can Cryptor be used with NT Compressed and/or Encrypted file types?
2. Can Cryptor be used with files located on a network drive via mapped drive letters and via UNC pathing?
3. Is Cryptor compatible with Windows 2003 Server?
4. Are there any compatibility concerns or GOTCHAS one needs to be sensitive to when considering Cryptor?
5. Is there an unlimited license version of Cryptor?
6. Do demo versions of a Cryptor protected application require Cryptor licenses or are Cryptor licenses only required for purchased copies of a Cryptor protected application?
Thank you!
