Thanks for the reply. I did change it to a label. But i found a post by Cetin where the syntax is not the same as it is for DynamicBackColor (which is what i based my DynamicCurrentControl command on). I changed the syntax and it now works.
.grid1.Columns(3).DynamicCurrentControl = "(IIF(assetfotos.lAsset,'label1','check1'))"
.grid1.setall("DynamicBackColor","IIF( assetfotos.lAsset, RGB(250,253,193), RGB(255,255,255) )","Column")
>There's no problem having the control source being logical. However, try using a label (with caption='') instead of a text box.
