I don't have an answer for you and I'm not sure an answer is possible since a user may use multiple email systems, i.e. Outlook/MAPI/Exchange, webbased, and Outlook via SMTP, etc.

Since, I can't help, I can at least add to the confusion ;) by adding two more email interfaces to your list:

- Lotus Notes (access code on the Wiki)
- SMTP (use West-Wind wwIPstuff or Blat.dll)

This is a very interesting topic. I'm looking forward to reading how others address the issue of email interfaces.
