>>>Is it possible to place a bunch of desktop shortcuts into a group? I have a million of shortcuts on my desktop and want to hide some (until I need to use them). For example, I have a shortcut for TurboTax 2000, TurboTax 2001, and so on. I would like to place them all in one "group" shortcut, if I ever need to access them.

>OS2 had a very nice way of handling this. Do you know if the same can be done for XP? I find that I can come close but I have to set it all by hand... show icons; set display window size, etc.

I use the desktop toolbar. With that it autoexpands the folders and the briefase on the desktop so you can open the item inside them. I don't know what OS2 did.
