Actually, the VB team really likes the data-centric language features in VFP. In fact, over the past several months Calvin Hsia and I have been meeting with various members of the VB team going over detailed demos of VFP's data language syntax, data engine integration with language, and more. And there has been some serious progress made in researching how to enhance the VB language to include VFP data-centric language features.
