Gonz,
He might make you forget Williams. Credentials?
In his senior year in high school, he led Cartersville to the AA state championship and was AA player of the year.
It's the only season Cartersville's ever gone undefeated in football. His teammates have said, "Ronnie wouldn't let us lose!"
When he had the opportunity, during his red-shirt sophomore season (Carnell Williams went down for the season), all he did in 6 games was rush for over 1,000 yards, be named SEC back of the year, and win the MVP award at the Capital One Bowl.
He may not be the pure runner that Williams was, but I'll tell you this: he'll be a better pass receiver and blocker than Williams. Plus, I kind of think he's the type of person that'll make his teammates better.
George
