I got a little job from a cutomer to write a small application (in terms of size of VFP apps). It will have just a couple of windows and only 2 tables. It will also have a couple of reports. The customer expects me to write it in VFP, although they don't care, as long as it is windows app and does not involve IS department know about it. Yes, you heard me right, the IS hates VFP and the customer (department in a hospital) does not care what is the backend.

I have very limited time to do it, just about one week. But I thought it could be an opportunity to learn Win.net forms. My questions to you all are as follows:

1. How would you access VFP data from Win.Net form? I am concerned that VFP OleDb driver has too many limitations. I am concerned that Web Services (I think popular with some folks) is a good approach but I have never used it and probably not enough time to learn. What other methods would you recommend?

2. Is it practical to expect to learn to write Win.net forms in one week and create an application at the same time?
