What animal has 9 lives? FoxPro, of course. Come to the May FUDG meeting and get a tour of the new version, VFP 9.0. http://www.chicagofudg.com

Dramatic improvements to the Report Writer are the big selling point of the new FoxPro. But what about the myriad of other improvements and extensions? How can they improve the quality of our applications and help us get them out the door faster?

Rick Schummer, author of What's New In VFP 9, will demonstrate:

1) Property Editors: what are they, how to integrate them into your development environment, and some ideas on what can be implemented.
2) MenuHits: what are they, how to integrate them into your development environment, and some ideas on what can be implemented.
3) One example of extending the VFP 9 DataExplorer functionality.
4) Miscellaneous productivity tips.
5) A free VFP 9 add on available from Rick's company, White Light Computing of Detroit, Michigan.

He'll have a copy of his book for a door prize. Rick has also written chapters of Deploying VFP Applications, 1001 things You Wanted to Know about Visual FoxPro, and MegaFox. They are available from Hentzenwerke publications. We're lucky to have such an enthusiastic pitch man and trainer. Come out and give this Tiger a big White Sox welcome.
