i think it should work since the CursorAdapter class also has properties like "UpdateCmdDataSource", "DeleteCmdDataSource" .. it should be very flexible ..

just try it out ...

get some data with CA
disconnect
replace some fields in cursor
assign CA.DataSource a new connection handle ..
tableupdate()
