I agree with you Hilmar. The mistake in thinking is at least twofold (1) thinking that prostitution is a choice. For the majority it obviously is not. For the majority it is an act of desperation or even worse. (2) that the aid is tied to a moral or religous cause vs. a purely humanitarian one - which is the choice of the donor. The Brazilians do not want to be dictated to on that level - which is the choice of the intended recipient.
