I currently use the Farpoint Technologies Spread control for a user input/output function within our application. It is basicly a spreadsheet control. The reason I use it is that it allows for flexable formatting and control within each cell. Unlike a normal grid control, it allows for checkboxes, comboboxes, expanding height, font formatting, etc. In addition it has it's own ability to do printing with formatting and it creates documents just like we want. These document are really user defined based off a data dictionary, so every customer has basicly a differnt document. In general though when I print, it is two columns formatted kinda like:
=====================================================
This is the first section of the document
=====================================================
Question based off checkboxes | BAD[] GOOD[X]
Question with just text for answer | [MY HEALTH IS GOOD]
When working with the data, it is a spreadsheet, so the first answer is in Row 1, Col 2. What my users are asking for is the ability for when I print this document to put the answer in a bold font. I can bold the whole cell, but I can't bold just the answer within the cell (This from farpoint tech support).

So after all this, my real question is, has someone else here addressed/solved this type of problem.

Thanks for you time and thoughts

Kirk
