I'm lost. Who said there was a reference to a University in the link I provided? It seems to be totally unrelated to UMass-Amherst.
And I would argue that UMass-Amherst is not named after that bad man, just like I would argue that The University of Texas at Dallas is not named after the city of Dallas.
And this is all just as trivial as how you eat your enchiladas. The important thing is that you do eat them. :)
