It sounds like the printer gets "tired" and timesout or goes off-duty until it can absorb some more calories.

Isn't that stuff supposed to be in the tech sheets that came with the printer. Another good reason to avoid Dell!

When it crashed - did it corrupt the data?

>My client has the same problem with a Dell printer(not sure which model) they purchased. In our case it would error when printing invoices at around the 200-300 invoices mark. They replaced the printer with an HP and never have had the problem since. The Dell is now used for very small print jobs if at all. Unfortunately Dell has not issued a new printer driver for that model.
