>>You had a nice try in that area here, during the late sixties, but it petered out with the onslaught of the rightwing revenge.

>Ok if you say so. I'm too young to remember the sixties.

Sorry, you just sound like you're older than I, and I'm almost 50.

>>So you have a respectable percentage of people who can't have sex freely (in both meanings - as in "without social constraints" and "no payment required"), so they're resorting to find on the market what they lack in their social life. What's your plan for them?
>
>Therapy? Real help? Or are you suggesting providing them with endless access to prostitutes...

Prostitution equals slavery where it isn't legalized. Pimps take everything and give the girls just a few crumbs to survive and look good. I said "freely". So, no, I don't think prostitution solves anything, it's just a valve on the current kettle.

What would that therapy be? What would it achieve.

>Do you also suggest we provide drug addicts with gov't funded drugs?
>If so...
>How about providing child molesters with .... why not, they can't help themselves.

Frankly, I think that anyone who can't get on with sex without employing master/slave relationship or power play is sick in a way, and needs counseling. IOW, you got me completely wrong, as I expected.

"Freely" means "free to give, free to receive" - a common exchange between equals. Where did you get the idea that I was proposing "supplying ... services to"? No services, man, nobody is being served here. I'm talking about consentuous relationship between equals.

>How about providing mass murders with endless supply of victims... why not they can't help themselves.
>
>Where does it all end?

You probably live in your own fantasy world. Where do you get these weird ideas from?

>>Being a medical technician is a risky activity. Just one wrong cut, and through your rubber glove there comes the HIV virus. And you know it in advance, and you willingly participate in it. Even get paid for that... just like a prostitute does.
>
>So you think I would include these people as people that participated in risky activities? Are you serious?

They fit your definition. You tell me.
