I think what we need is a database object. An object that has an events like OpenDataBase, CloseDataBase, OpenTable, CloseTable, RecordPointerChanged and so on. With a DB object there are a number of requested features that could be incorporated by a developer like security and data encryption.

>I agree that I would like these features. However, a simple password on the DBC would be fine by me. It could be something as simple as a method that fires when the DBC is opened (I would love something like that when a table is opened too...) and leave it to us.
