Try putting just a plain "hello World" HTML file to see if you can hit it.

I'm gonna answer this question like I'm shooting darts into darkness - try opening a command window from the Visual Studio Program Menu. Run aspnet_regiis.dll -i, this has fixed wonders when working with ASP.NET and IIS.

This may fix the problem - I'm thinking that ASP.NET is not registered with iis.
