Dr. Dobbs has covered (among other things) C and C++ and now .NET.

I agree, some of things shown at MSDN events on sql2005 are interesting.

Never assumed you were mono-lingual. I wrote database apps from 1988 to 1994 using Microsoft C/Borland C++.
