I'm starting to experiment with Rick Strahl's Web Connect and it is extremely fast and allows you multiple layers of security including NT authentication. I hate to keep selling his product w/o commission, but it's just a wonderful solution to this web stuff. If you're going to be on a lan, you might just wait for VFP 6.0. It will run in the browser but requires the dlls and the app to be on the local drive.
