O.K. I did. I see a survey on a .NET oriented site amongst only 485 developers listing their favourate development tool.

So what does it say ??

Well, I can't draw any conclusions on that except the facts about the voting of the subscribers to that site. It has something to tell about the languages the readers write in. Nothing else. Also there is a issue with the questioning:

Which language(s) are you upset that I left out of the list above?

which is different from:

Which addtional language(s) you you use?

Not particulary well set up if you'd ask me. Of course there is another problem. Even if the result was representative (which it clearly is not), what is the point ?? All I can see there is a wide variaty of programming languages out here (though I clearly see that not many are into ERP/ERM/CRM). So there must be a reason to program in those languages as oposed the the popular ones, should there ??
