Hi Michael,

The "PA Crew" is a (small) group of people who frequent the Universal Thread's Visual Foxpro Forum to constantly preach that "FoxPro is dead" and enjoy belittling those who continue to exploit FoxPro in their day-to-day work. Current FoxPro users are described as lazy old farts who are afraid to learn another language and are stuck in the dark ages with their heads buried in the sand.

The "PA Crew" all advocate .NET and constantly advise that they can easily do anything in .NET that can be done in VFP plus lots lots more. They have an unceasing urge to come to the VFP Forum and tell us all that. They have charged themselves with defending any statement about .NET made in the VFP Forum that in any way implies a short-coming in .NET or a hint of superiority for VFP over .NET.

Their figurehead is one JVP (aka John Petersen) who was twice banned from the UT (the last time for life) and they have grabbed the torch on his behalf.

The "PA Crew" is so named because they all have addresses in Pennsylvania, in and around the Philadelphia area (I believe). They are always anxious to recruit new members and the entry criteria seems to be that you can say ".NET" louder than you can say "FoxPro".

cheers
>Forgive me, but what is the "PA" crew?? I guess my answer to that would be no :)
