Hi all:
I'm doing my first steps in XML Web Services, so I decided to write the code as stated in http://www.mug.org.ar/FoxProGufa/ArticFox/239.aspx (it's in spanish, I'm sorry) and get it working in a Win2003 Server.
I followed the steps to register the DLL as a COM+ package and all worked fine but when I tried to register the web service in a client station (Win2003 server - VFP8 SP1) and I received no response from the server.
The next thing I does was "tuning" the IIS 6 at the server side, so I decided temporarily PERMITTING the "All unknown ISAPI extensions" at "WEB Services Extensions" (again sorry, Im translating now from spanish to english) and ... VOILÀ, it worked.
I'm now wandering if there is a way to get this thing working WITHOUT opening a big hole in the security of my server (I'm sure I think it's possible), but I tried to register in "WEB Services Extensions" the WSDL file and the DLL file to permit only these service but it simply doesn't work.
Can you help me please?
