Sylvia,
This is an actual example used in app. I was letting the people select a group first via a combobox then a subgroup again via a combobox in grid. As normal only adding those comboboxes to grid is adding more than one control. Furthermore for those subgroups I needed totally different styles, inputmasks etc so that column was using at least 3 controls (one textbox + two combos). Dynamiccurrentcontrol was set to an expression that would take one as the input control based on first combos value. Basically even you use only combo or spinner etc as a second control you generally keep the text control and only change currentcontrol (sparse .f.). So visuality is better until cell gotfocus control is textbox.
