My only comment is that you've described it as a Microsoft marketing effort and nothing more - and you also acknowledged you haven't read it.
I have read it, more than once, and I think they did a great job of packing a tremendous amount of information into 60-some pages. If I were on a V9 project and needed an accessible reference for new features, the issue would be very helpful for me.
Also keep in mind that they created this while also producing the regular CoDe issue - so it would not surprise me if several of the people who worked on both CodeFocus and CoDe had to put in a fair amount of additional time. I recall that Rod came up here months ago and asked people some questions that led to his article about the IDE enhancements. And they offered the PDF free. So I guess I'm hazy on why you'd make that comment.
But even if it was only an MS marketing effort - isn't that what you wanted? More MS marketing of Fox???
