I wholeheartedly agree with your assesment of Baird, and also feel that Claude should be reinstated. Baird's remark was totally out of line, and Claude is a far more valuable member of the VFP community, judging by his past contributions and his general deportment.

It's important to appreciate that there are many forms of offensive behavior that will never be picked up by merely checking for "bad words". How childish to make an assessment at that superficial level! Claude was clearly provoked by Baird's unbelievably insensitive, totally asinine remark. Have I stepped over the line yet? I would like very much to tell you what I think of this Baird creature.

While we're at it, note the deliberately provocative Goff posting "Survey on programming languages" Thread #1012454. Does the Goff entity suppose we are so dumb that his purpose escaped us? This was an innocent piece of VFP-related "information"? What a load of crap.

I suggest that such trash is unworthy even of being considered VFP "Chatter". Please, let the .NET people pollute their own forums and cesspools reserved for their exclusive use. I don't want no steenkin' .NET garbage, thank you very much.
