I am currently using Using Crstal Reports 8.0 to connect to an MSDE 2000 Database. When I use the Crystal Reports data explorer to try to locate my msde 2000 database I am looking under Microsoft SQL server folder and when I am prompted for a server name I enter it and when I try to drill down on the database drop down I get an error "Unable to connect to SQL server {myservername}". when I do the same this to connect to my network SQL server database it works fine. Am I doing something wrong or is this a limitation on the MSDE 2000 Database engine.
