As its Saturday I've been trawling through some of the old messages that I didn't get round to reading. I posted the same question after having the same problems as you.

In the end I bought the RAS control from Mabry and it worked first time - if I'd have done that to begin with it would have saved me 1.5 days of bashing my head against a brick wall! - and it only costs 20USD!
