A lot of people feel the same way you do (they think I and II are sith (move the h after the s)), but from what I have heard SWIII is a lot better. Maybe Rod could rate SWIII on a scale from 1 to 10 (where 10 is SQIV)
I don't think SWI and SWII crap, they were not as good as SW IV - VI but sill they were not crap. SWI and SWII were nessesary to explain certain things about Anakin. I have listened to the audio book of SWI and SWII based on the screen play and the audio books are great (jar jar Bings is not half as annoying<s>) The audio books explained a lot of things that were not shown in the movies. In the audio book for SWII the first 2 CDs were before the movie even started. Great to listen to while coding.
SWIV is also great on audio book(lots of extra stuff that is not shown in the movie).
