>Also.... Claude was banned for a couple of reasons. They are both related to behavior.... He threatened John Baird 1st. And 2nd when told to chill out he didn't. Then to compound his own problems he logged in under another account.

What that a public warning?

>Guy Kawasaki (former evangalist for Mac) was a speaker at an early devcon as a matter of fact.

Fair enough. But after that DevCon did he phone you every week or sent you emails every day to convert you to the Mac? <vbg>

>Some of us have been promoting knowledge expansion for some time. Yes...I am/was one of those folks that promoted adding VB6 to the arsenel then, and advocate .NET now.

I think that everybody here agrees that knowledge expansion is necessary. It's just the bullying that comes along that people disagree with.

Some here call it .Not or .Nyet or say that it's still a beta version or whatever. That is not important. What is important is that those that are still working with VFP and don't want to use .Net have their reasons. And you and others have your reasons to work exclusively with .Net.

The most important is to build something based on the needs of the customer asking for that application.

But even if this has been mentioned many times over the threads trying to convert VFP developers to .Net it did'nt stop you (evangelists) from spreading the coming of the NEW UNIVERSAL DEVELOPMENT TOOL.

Still we won't stop from using VFP. Perhaps we're too weak after years and year of VFP use and we don't realize what situation we'll soon get into.

Are we getting manipulated by MS? But we don't see it because of our weaknesses.

We don't believe you because MS just released VFP9 and why would they do that if VFP was just crap?

Perhaps we'll need REAL help from you guys (.Net evangelists)

You guys should send email to MS.

Are'nt they a bunch of fools for releasing a tool (VFP9) that has no goal in life, no market, no marketing...

You should even expose this to the medias.

Perhaps we need that extra help.

Let the world know that even after releasing .Net, the universal solution to all IT related problems, they're exploiting a third-class group of developers by making them think that VFP can still be used to build real apps.

HELP! (.Net evangelists) HELP!

We need you to save us from ourselves.
