This "survey on programming Languages" business. I feel like I was at the back of the bar when the brawl broke out, and missed all the action, the start and the end. I missed the cops turning up and one member being banned. I missed what the member did - talk of threatening another member - I can't see that - nor can I see how one member CAN threaten another (well - carry out a theat) unless you're now duelling with robot arms that your opponent can program against you.

I don't know - call me dim or slow - but, apart from the odd slanging match, I can't see what all the fuss is about. I've trawled the thread but can't see where it all went wrong, and why so many pitched in.

Mind you, I was getting a little thread-up with the discussion.

Perhaps someone can enlighten me (maybe send it private so another Hooey doesn't blow up)
