This message has been marked as the solution to the initial question of the thread.
>I usually have my WWC COM servers to use a local drive. This has never caused me any problem so far. However, on a new server I am using for testing purposes, I have to use a table which is on another server. So, from Windows Explorer, I have access to that drive from F:. But, with WWC COM servers, this drive is not available. So, should the proper approach be to use a RUN NET USE or is there a better way to have that drive visible from that COM server without having to do anything inside it to gain access to it?

Drive mappings work on a per-user basis. The COM object probably runs as a System user so it will not see "your" drive mappings (from your personal profile). It's always better to provide the proper UNC path (\\MyServer\) instead of mapping to a drive.
