I ran across Hungarian notation in YAG's book Codebook 2.0, and loved it instantly. It felt right and did not need marketing, but I have to admit there are other ways to skin a cat.
I am sure we are not going to have a religious war over variable and object naming like there is here over .NET vs VFP because everyone has a lot less invested in naming conventions than in computer languages or human religions, but the recognition of how easily humans become polarized is scary.
