Is there a simple way to individual pages in a pageframe?

The only technique I've been able to come up with is to remove a page when I want to hide it and then re-insert the page when I want to show it again.

This seems like a rather complicated alternative to a simple page.visible property (which doesn't exist). Am I missing something?
