Amen. Though we have to allow for the human condition as well... if it is true that some "gurus" are actively FUDding VFP to bolster their dotNET business (e.g. "you guys only have about a year to move from VFP, then you're in trouble" - reportedly stated by McNeish to the employer of one poster here) it is perhaps a little insensitive to come to the VFP forum to benefit from free advertising of dotNET conversion services.
"... They ne'er cared for us
yet: suffer us to famish, and their store-houses
crammed with grain; make edicts for usury, to
support usurers; repeal daily any wholesome act
established against the rich, and provide more
piercing statutes daily, to chain up and restrain
the poor. If the wars eat us not up, they will; and
there's all the love they bear us."
-- Shakespeare: Coriolanus, Act 1, scene 1
