I like the "look" of Ad-Aware - but how to move it to to high density data managers is the what we need.

It seems that the services GUIs and realtime GUIs (like Adobe Audition and SAAB's pipeline / oil production systems have a good edge).

NavStar - that GPS mapping system for cars was prototyped in dBase V - and there was a VFP/Internet stock ticker (built here in Houston) a few years ago.

Some of the coolest interfaces I've seen were by really young guys and gals that had no loyalties to conventions or rules.

Maybe - from time to time - when one of us runs across a business app with some nice and interesting GUI features - we should start a section and post a link. Many of the VFP apps I've seen have that tired-recompiled FPW look.

So lets not limit a GUI offered for review by language because with VFP and low level xBase we can mimic any behavior quite well.
