Hello,
if you still get the error then TABLEUPDATE() has failed ..
you'll need to check the returnvalue of TABLEUPDATE() and if it return non success code you'll have to TABLEREVERT() ... otherwise you'll get hit by the error message you've posted ..
PS: use AERROR() to check why TABLEUPDATE has failed ..
