>I have been commissioned by my client to produce a "STRONG" argument for using Foxpro instead of Access. I have searched the internet for information and came up empty. I know Foxpro is a more robust development system with more capability for customization. Does anyone have any suggestions or know where I might look for more information on comparing these platforms? Thanks in advance for you help.

Here's a good tip:

The Overall Statistics of the Universal Thread for Visual FoxPro is showing 9500 messages compare to 21 for Microsoft Office, which contains Microsoft Access.

You may also download the "What's new in Visual FoxPro 5" file from the download corner in the documentation section. You might find a lot of tips that might help you justify Visual FoxPro.

Microsoft Access is using Rushmore now. Where does Rushmore come from? - Visual FoxPro. :)

Visual FoxPro is also a true object oriented programming environment.

If you need power you need Visual FoxPro.
