I would start with VB. Chances are you'll need it at some point. It's in just about every major MS application (Access, Office, Project, Interdev). It's a pretty nice tool and hanles UI stuff quite nicely. Also, becuase MS considers it strategic, you can count on it supporting new technologies quickly. It doesn't handle data as well as VFP and doesn't have true OOP (no inheritence), but it's otherwise quite a good tool.
