Normally If SET STATUS is ON, the character-based status bar is displayed showing the name of the program currently executing (if any) the alias of the active table, the current record pointer position, the number of records in the table, and the state of the Insert, NumLock and CapsLock keys. The record or file lock status is also shown in the status bar when the table is opened for shared use. The status bar is updated each time you execute a command that changes status information.

My status bar doesn't show anything. I wish to see the information in the status bar when I open a table. I try set talk on and some other command, nothing to do.

If I write set message to "test" the status bar display the string but if I write set message to the satus bar is empty even if I open program, table ....

Any idea
