an equivalence function to AddressOf in VB doesn't exist in VFP.

my upcoming FLL will provide a BindEventsEx, an extended BindEvents that should work with every VFP version .. but it will take some time until i can release this library cause i have to write documentation for about 70 function's :((, and i really like writing docu :)) really :))

in the meantime one should be able solve this issue with a COM object i already wrote, download #18695

the COM object creates a window and then fires a COM event for each window message it receives, one can bind to the event with the EVENTHANDLER() function that is available since VFP7 i think
