>Can you elaborate on the second issue? This seems like it would be quite troublesome. My boss has just ordered the upgrade to 9 for me and the contractor that works here. I'm looking for this kind of information so I can be aware of issues going in.
Just because a couple of people report issues with their application does not mean that there are not work arounds or issues that others will find. We have only a few dozen reports of issues over the past several months with VFP 9.0, while there use to be hundreds on previous versions of VFP. 99.9% of developers using VFP 9.0 today have no problems. We will probably do a Service Pack 1 for VFP but it would not release until the end of this year since VFP 9.0 is so stable and there are so few known issues. I suggest you simply try to use VFP 9.0 and it is far more likley than not you won't have any issues. Beyond that, we fix many many bugs in VFP 9.0 from previous versions and is even more stable than VFP 8.0 SP1.
