Its not realy a flaw with the langauge as much as it is a feature that is missing. I say that because strong typing is not a requirement for good code. To allow for strong typing would be a major overhaul of the compiler. I am not sure I would ever expect this in VFP. That said, I am with you in that I would love to see it in the product.
